force is a productive workforce. Therefore SBC
believes in a generous vacation and holiday policy on par or
better than any other consulting firm in town.
New associates start with three weeks of paid vacation and one
week of non-paid vacation per year and are encouraged to use
it all up each year.
Additionally, for those weeks when we burn
the midnight oil to get the job done, all employees accrue comp
time for any
hours worked over 40 hours/week.
Holidays:
Sustainable Business Consulting strives
to hire a diverse workforce, and believes its holidays should
reflect that. Therefore, rather
than the 6 traditional holidays, Sustainable Business Consulting offers
10 holidays per year: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King
Day, the opening day of the NCAA Basketball Tournament, Memorial
Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Yom Kippur, Thanksgiving,
Christmas,
and New Year’s Eve Day. Time off may also be allocated
for key US soccer matches, as determined by the President.
